When repairing SMT components on printed circuit boards (PCBs), for resistors and capacitors below 1206 and components with an area less than 5 square millimeters, the solder joint temperature is required to be about 50 degrees Celsius higher than the solder melting point, which is between 250 and 270 degrees Celsius;

For large components, the temperature of the soldering iron is set between 350 and 370, and the maximum cannot exceed 390. The soldering time should not be too long, only a few seconds, and under this condition, it will not damage the solder pads on the PCB board.
